Covenant Circle (“Covenant Circle,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) operates the Covenant Circle mobile application and related services (the “Service”). This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use and share it, and the choices available to you. By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to the collection and use of information as described in this policy.
Information you provide directly
Account information: name, email address, phone number, date of birth
Profile information: photos, bio, life stage, values-based prompts and answers, dating preferences
Verification information: a selfie photo or short video used to confirm you match your profile photos
Payment information: processed by our third-party payment processor and the App Store; we do not store full card numbers
Communications: messages exchanged with other users, and any inquiries you send to support
Information collected automatically
Device information: device type, operating system, unique device identifiers
Usage data: features used, time spent, interactions with profiles and matches
Location data: approximate or precise location (with your permission) used for distance-based matching
Log data: IP address, access times, crash and diagnostic data
Information from third parties
If you register using Sign in with Apple or a similar service, we receive the basic profile information you authorize that service to share
We use the information above to: create and manage your account; power matching, search, and distance-based discovery; verify identity and photos to reduce fake profiles and scams; enable in-app messaging; process subscription payments; send service and safety notifications; moderate content and enforce our Terms of Service and Community Guidelines; improve and develop the Service; prevent fraud and abuse; and comply with legal obligations, including responding to lawful requests from law enforcement.
We do not sell your personal information to third parties for their own marketing purposes. We share information in the following circumstances:
Service providers: cloud hosting, identity-verification vendors, payment processors, and customer-support tools, each bound by confidentiality obligations
Other users: your profile, photos, and prompts are visible to other users according to your settings; direct messages are visible only to you and the recipient
Legal and safety: law enforcement or regulators when required by law, or when we believe in good faith it is necessary to protect the safety of a user or the public
Business transfers: in the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to this policy or a materially similar one
We use industry-standard safeguards, including encryption in transit and access controls, to protect your information. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. Report suspected security issues to loulongo@convenantdigitalgroupllc.com.
We retain personal information for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the Service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time (see Section 8).
Depending on your state of residence — for example, under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA) and similar laws in other states — you may have the right to access the personal information we hold about you, request correction of inaccurate information, request deletion of your information, opt out of certain sharing, and not be discriminated against for exercising these rights. Submit requests to loulongo@convenantdigitalgroupllc.com; we will verify your identity before fulfilling them. You can also manage much of your data directly in the app: edit or delete your profile, adjust location and visibility settings, disable notifications, and delete your account under Settings.
The Service is intended solely for adults 18 years of age and older. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If we learn an account belongs to someone under 18, we will terminate it and delete the associated data. Report suspected underage use to loulongo@convenantdigitalgroupllc.com.
To help keep the community authentic and safe, we may ask you to complete a photo or video verification step, which can involve automated comparison of your verification image to your profile photos. Some states, including Illinois, Texas, and Washington, have specific laws governing biometric data. We retain verification images only as long as needed to confirm your identity and for safety and fraud-prevention purposes, and handle them consistent with applicable law.
With your permission, we collect precise or approximate location to show you nearby matches and calculate distance. You can disable location access at any time in your device settings, though this may limit certain features.
If we operate a companion website, we may use cookies and similar technologies for functionality, analytics, and, where permitted, marketing. You can control cookies through your browser settings.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes through the app or by email before they take effect.
